The HIMSS13 Awards Banquet will be held during HIMSS13,scheduled for March 3-7 in New Orleans

Recognizing outstanding contributions to HIMSS and the healthcare industry, HIMSS named its 2012 award and scholarship recipients. The HIMSS Foundation and five HIMSS chapters provided 10 scholarships to students enrolled in health IT and management systems degree programs.
“The HIMSS award recipients are individuals and organizations that have contributed to HIMSS mission of leading healthcare transformation through the effective use of health information technology. Congratulations to all of the award and scholarship recipients for their achievement and for the use of their skills to expand health IT,” said JoAnn Klinedinst, CPHIMS, FHIMSS, PMP, Vice President, Professional Development, HIMSS.
Award winners are nominated in four award categories: industry service, HIMSS service, publications and chapters. All award and scholarship recipients will be honored at the HIMSS Awards Banquet on March 5, 2013, from 6:30 – 9 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans during the 2013 Annual HIMSS Conference & Exhibition.
