
Erica L. Pantuso is Vice President of Regional Affairs for HIMSS, the largest U.S. cause-based, not-for-profit healthcare association focused on the optimal use of information technology and management systems for the betterment of healthcare.
At HIMSS, Pantuso oversees member benefits and services for the non-profit association’s individual members and corporate partners. She also manages the HIMSS Foundation and Data Services and Reporting department.
Pantuso joined HIMSS in 1999 as Coordinator for the HIMSS Special Interest Groups program. She advanced to manage member recruitment and retention for the newly formed Business Development area. In 2004, Pantuso was promoted to Director of Member Services. She was named Vice President in 2006. Under her direction, HIMSS individual memberships, as well as member benefits and services, have expanded.
Before joining HIMSS, Pantuso worked for five years as Chapter Liaison for the Women’s Council of Realtors, which has more than 200 U.S. chapters representing more than 12,000 members.
Pantuso earned a BA in Political Science from Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green. She is a member of the American Society of Association Executives, Association Forum of Chicagoland and the TIMSS Users Group, as well as a Certified Association Executive (CAE).
